Is it a he or she?
Not the welly,
but the jelly,
Either way,
I’ll flee!
But wait…
Who has reign
o’er this fear?
Is it the jelly?
Or me?
In this case
In ebbing space
I still choose
To flee.

Just the name Welly cries for whimsy, right? I LOVE wellies, too. The climate in California, as with your neck of the woods I’m sure, doesn’t call for them very often, but The Hebrides certainly does. My friend practically live in hers. Be well, Lyn ❤
