TAKING A BLOG-A-CATION

photo.jpgUh, I mean a vacation from blogging. Not for long. Only until the ironing’s done.

Before I go though, I have a question for you:

Have you noticed all the new blog-o-cabulary being used out there in Blogland lately?

Personally, I kind of like it. For one thing, using blogisms keeps my spell check on his toes …………….. See?

Thinking up new terms for everyday words is like striking out on a new adventure – it blogs the mind – or it can also bloggle the mind if you’re using a blogiom, or a so called blogomatic expression. Thankfully, we don’t need to bleak the blingo. We only need to write it. Ahhhh, now I think I’ve stumbled upon a problem with Blogeeze – when do we drop the og and use only the bl? Or the blo? Someone out there needs to work on some blammer and spellogging rules – a new Blogtionary might help in the interim –imgres.jpgand particularly, a Blogosaurus. I’m always looking for Blogonyms, not to be confused with its opposite, Blogtonyms, so that I don’t use the same word twice in a sentence.

The more I blamble on the more I see that this whole blog thing could actually create new jobs in education. Our institutions of higher learning will certainly be needing Bloglish Blogessors. Students will need degrees like Bachelors of Blogience, Masters of Blogerary Studies, and Doctors of Blogosophy.

Oh, just a blogarn minute…there’s a news flash…OH, bluck me!

The CDC CBC – Centers for Blogease Control – have just added Blogitis to their list of blogonic blogeases. Their recommendation for prevention, if you haven’t already succumbed to blogolism, is to immmmmediately see you blogoctor for a blogunization.

That said, I think I need to put my Blog-o-cation on hold while I consult with an authority on the matter…Ben Blog and I.jpg

Y’all have a bodacious BLOGACIOUS weekend now, ya hear?

Enjoy your Bli-ron-athon, Donna. Personally, I don’t do ironing anymore – everything I own is drip-dry 🙂 I love your idea for a Blogtionary and a Blogosaurus – or should that be Blogothaur. There is a great need for more Blogonyms from both sides of the fence 🙂
