‘Tis often the time of year
my inner grinch hangs about
But this time ’tis different
I’ve news of a new sprout

T’was the night of his birth…
not that blessed one.
The he here is Theo,
the first Weidner grandson.

The first of two grandchildren,
But that’s an announcement for another time
Since it’s not in me right now
To work on my meter and rhyme.

And in the interest of not keeping you
from your week of holiday celebrations
I’ll leave you with these photos
and joyous salutations.

The cousins wait with baited breath for the new pack member to arrive

as does brother Joe

Who’s Santa? What’s taking him so long…let’s read while we wait

Hang on … where’d that grinch come from?

Never mind…I think I’ll apply to be an apprentice elf next year

Until then,
the Weidners wish you a 2023 filled with
health, happiness, and fresh, clean diapers

❤ Be Well ❤

Welcome to our world, Theo! I’m delighted you are here!

Please tell your grandmother I’m honoured that she shared Big Bear and Little Fish with you. I’m sure you’ll be a wonderful friend, just like Fish. Probably even better. Sending lots of blessings your way.
