Steady now – okay, I’ve got it. Sometimes one soap box isn’t enough. Sometimes, when there’s so much going on, you’ve got to step it up a notch and
kill two birds with one stone no, uh, maybeeee, bake two cakes in one oven? Nope. Wait! I’ve got it – Fix two owies with one hug! Or in this case, three.
Friends, Family, BlogMates – lend me your ears.
It’s a busy weekend coming up.
The People’s Climate Walk in New York City and the International Day of PEACE are slated for Sunday, September 21st. What better warm-up is there to these world-changing events than OnePeople Day on Saturday, September 2oth?
I invite you to connect with people all over the world by holding hands in circles and chains advocating for one human race.
OnePeople marks the day when we stand together – people circumnavigating the globe – joined by our hands and hearts – connected to one another in a variety of languages, religions, and skin colors as one race – the human race, OnePeople. “A circle on the village square, an action with friends, a concert at the river, or an article in the local newspaper – there are no limits to your contribution!”
What a perfect segue to Sunday’s planned events, too.
If not in person, then virtually.
My hand is open.
In the words of Mahatma Ghandi, let us
“Be the change that you wish to see in the world.”
Afterwards, please share your photos and experience on the OnePeople Face Book Page.

Donna, sorry I can’t be there with y’all. I am attending a conference tomorrow. But my thoughts are with you. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zX0rqvF1uyk

No sorries, Dan. Thoughts are a presence too…and thank you for sharing this beautiful video. I must have been living under a rock when this one came out. “We are one family” – now all we need is to remember that. Have fun at your conference, brother.

Am only reading this now, Donna — internet took a vacation for five days without so much as a by-your-leave
Hope you all had an inspiring time.

You did not miss a thing, Lyn. You are an integral part of it all, wherever you are. Time is not necessarily linear or have limits…if you ask me, anyway.
