    The more awareness the better.

    It was an absolutely horrible experience, made worse by not knowing what to do! I hope my advice will help people to protect themselves, and guide them how to respond if they are targeted.

    Unfortunately, with AI, these scams are becoming more widespread. It was certainly a shock to me, since I have always played by the book.

    I have a history of being what some call paranoid about the guardrail freeness of the internet. Others say I am wise or smart to do so. Knowing about these AI risks keeps me grounded that my approach is closer to wisdom than paranoia. I’d much rather spend precious time with family, friends, my creative friends and contacts and folks who embrace the mythic importance of meaning (which can only be born of integrity).
