A clear blue sky and warm inviting weather reigned supreme as prolific indie author Jacqueline ‘Jacquie’ H. Faber recently read three of her picture books to a group of children and adults at Sausalito Books By The Bay.
And what better way is there to begin than with the tale of SuperGoldfish when the view out the bookstore window is stocked with yachts, sailboats, and dinghies moored in a tranquil harbour.
Once SuperGoldfish discovers his super power (no spoiler here 🙂 you’ll have to read the book) and restores peace and harmony to his home in the fish tank
a bit of song and dance was necessary to
make way for
A PURRFEECT HOME FOR KITTERS
and finally
DESIREE’S NIGHT FLIGHT
along with a teaser for Jacquie’s next book possibly titled PINKY, THE NAUGHTY PIG
As you can see, he is quite a ham, too.
Afterwards, the audience was invited to draw their own version of a fish, but only the youngest attendants were brave enough to share their creations.
Much fun was had by all.
If I’ve managed to tickle your curiosity, Jacquie’s books are available from the usual places (just hit the highlighted titles), jacquiefaber.com and your local book stores. For a tweet? @jacquiefaber1

Yes, it was. The kids loved it, as did we adults. It’s feels good getting back to some form of normalcy. Be well, Naomi ❤
