A TALL ORDER

The Daily Post Photo Challenge this week is titled ‘ORDER’. It didn’t speak to me at all until I took a walk with a friend and noticed that sneaky theme had secretly tagged along. It had attached itself to a friendly picturesque porch and wagged its wooden finger

at the uniformed symmetry waiting for us just around the bend,

and once I’d gotten started

there would have been no end to snapping shots

of the ordered patterns surrounding us,

unless we had chosen to end our stroll and seek out a change of scenery.

It seems Napa was not the way to go.
Even there, it never relented…

not even when we ducked into a cave…

NOT, at least, until we finally fed the beast,

did we find peace.

CHEERS!

  4. What wonderful photos. The patterns you found look so architectural, which I just love.

Cheers to the beast! And no wooden fingers wagging, either.
