After years of diligently fighting my worst enemy – ME – I have chosen to listen to my heart. With
pen laptop in hand, I have begun to seriously write–more specifically, to write this blog and children’s books. At the moment, in addition to a number of Picture Books, one about a distraught hen whose egg yolks have been deemed too yellow, I am also working on a middle grade novel about a chicken who accompanies Marco Polo on his expedition to China. No. I don’t have a chicken fetish, but taking into consideration that I am authoring this blog, I think it’s obvious that I’m finally pushing past being a chicken myself.
Besides writing creatively, I have translated a book from German into English: SACRED FIRE—Shamans and Elders for the World, which is still looking for a publisher for the english version, and I continue to translate articles for IceWisdom International, a non-profit organization committed to preserving the earth and her inhabitants.
When I’m not writing with my personal trainer and slave-driver Lucy looking over my shoulder, I am mostly being dragged over the hills of Marin County by her and our other black Labrador Retriever, Jazzie.
Otherwise, I enjoy reading, skiing in sunshine only, traveling, and simply being. I am also an active member of the San Francisco North & East Bay chapter of The Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators.
Enough about me now. Thank You – my reader – for having enough interest to stop by. I look forward to hearing from you, too. If you’d like to regularly join me, you may subscribe to my adventure updates by hitting the cute little follow button in the bottom right hand corner of your screen.
